Matteo Zorzeroni

Matteo Zorzenoni was born in Treviso in 1978. After attending the Art Institute, where he grows his interest for art and design, he completes a degree in Industrial Design in 2001. He begins since then to collaborate with the Iuav University of Venice, as assistant to teachers like Marc Sadler, Riccardo Blumer, Denis Santachiara, with whom he currently holds a course on design innovation focused on materials. He has worked as consultant for Fabrica, the Benetton Design and Communication Research Center, developing projects for exhibitions, museums and interiors. While at Fabrica he also meets and begins to work with Jaime Hayon, a collaboration which is still going on. His research is mainly focused on materials and their limits, developing projects like concrete tableware, glass structures, marble lamps, working side by side with the most qualified craftsmen.
